Ulmus pamila is a local kind of elm-tree (Kara-Agach). The craftsmen highly estimate a wood of this kind of tree. Because of that, the forest plantations of Kara-Agach-tree are cutting down in all places of Uzbekistan. Without forest plantations the fields will quickly return to desert.
