SNOW LEOPARD EXPEDITION 2026
Three 7000+ Peaks of Kyrgyzstan in One Summer
Lenin Peak (7134 m) — Khan Tengri (7010 m) — Pobeda Peak (7439 m)
A single-season high-altitude alpine project
This Is Not a Tour.
This Is an Alpine Expedition Project.
The Snow Leopard Expedition 2026 is designed for experienced mountaineers capable of operating in complex high-altitude environments with a high degree of autonomy, sound judgment, and full acceptance of objective risk.
This program is not a guided “summit guarantee.”
It is a logistically optimized framework for attempting three major 7000-meter peaks within one summer season in the Tien Shan and Pamir.
Program Concept
The project is built around three core principles:
-
Logistical efficiency without unnecessary constraints
-
Guided support only where it is technically and strategically justified
-
Clear ethical boundaries regarding risk and responsibility
Participants who do not yet possess sufficient high-altitude autonomy are strongly advised to choose fully guided, fixed-date programs — particularly for Lenin Peak and Khan Tengri.
Completing the Snow Leopard Triad in a single season requires not only physical conditioning, but also:
-
extensive high-altitude experience
-
conservative decision-making
-
realistic risk assessment
-
psychological resilience
Strategic Order of Ascents
1. Lenin Peak (7134 m) — Logical Acclimatization Base
Lenin Peak is used as the opening phase of the project due to:
-
predictable logistics
-
established fixed ropes
-
structured acclimatization rotations
-
early season operational stability
For reasons of time efficiency and physiological preparation, a guided ascent is recommended, even for strong independent climbers.
2. Khan Tengri (7010 m) — Technical and Time-Critical
Khan Tengri demands:
-
efficient acclimatization
-
fast movement on mixed terrain
-
precise use of limited weather windows
Following Lenin Peak, a guided ascent of Khan Tengri is strongly recommended in order to:
-
minimize logistical delays
-
use established camps and rope systems
-
conserve physical and mental reserves for the final objective
3. Pobeda Peak (7439 m) — The Decisive Phase
❗ No guiding services are provided on Pobeda Peak.
This is a deliberate and responsible decision.
Pobeda Peak involves:
-
extreme route length
-
complex navigation
-
sustained exposure
-
objectively dangerous terrain
-
very limited rescue possibilities
Commercial guiding on Pobeda Peak is ethically unjustified.
Any attempt must be carried out fully autonomously, with complete understanding that this is the most serious and dangerous phase of the entire project.
Overall Duration
Up to 48 days, including reserve days for weather and recovery.
Sequence:
-
Lenin Peak
-
Khan Tengri
-
Pobeda Peak

Final Remarks
Completing Lenin Peak, Khan Tengri, and Pobeda Peak within one summer season is not a touristic achievement.
It is a serious alpine undertaking where:
-
success is never guaranteed
-
retreat is a valid outcome
-
judgment matters more than ambition
This program offers:
-
optimal logistics
-
maximum operational flexibility
-
clearly defined risk boundaries
The outcome depends entirely on experience, discipline, and respect for the mountains.
